High School Gathering

I'm sick, and I'm bored. I got two days off work (hoo-ray) and I'm blogging here. Haha...

This is one backdated blog entry on our Korean Feast gathering on 29 December 2007. Last gatehring of the year 2007, and we have already make plans for the year 2008. PLAN 1: Chinese New Year "lou-sang" gathering to be organize by Jet as she mentioned earlier in her blog that Regent Restaurant in Bukit Kaya serves good food. Now, as Jet is the organizer, we can have abalone, Beijing duck and shark fin soup (*save the sharks people, STOP eating them*) for Chinese New Year 2008! PLAN 2: A trip to Krabi, Thailand! Our Redang/Perhentian/Lang Tengah trip on 2006 was a success one, and we wanna have another trip just like that, this time we'll use passport! Hahaha...

Redang, Perhentian and Lang Tengah Island hopping trip.

As for the Korean Feast, all showed up (refer to my previous post) except Siow Mei (Singapore celebrating Christmas with Mr. Merlion) and Vennie (her mummy dearie's birthday celebration). We ordered the Steamboat and Barbeque Set (RM250) for 6 person (but total of us were 11 person!).

Steamboats and BBQs were done by the staff and owner of the restaurant. We were there just to eat and chit-chat. Ah, and guess who we met there? Xiang Ying!!! And with her sister Xiang Min and their parents. Xiang Ying just back from Singapore by train and went to Korean Restaurant for dinner! What a shock! I'm so happy to see you!

Third row (from left): Xiang Ying, Poh Yan, Kelly, Rose and Suet Mun. Second row (from left): May Jet and Mei Wah. Sitting (from left): Siew Yee, Tsu Ann, Connie, Lily and Sher Hui.

And so, we pass around the food, we eat, we babbled and we pass the bowls around again and we chat... Last time, we talked about the bad teachers, gossips about friends, couples etc BUT NOW, we talked about work, who's gonna get married first, being "ji mui", gossip PY's friend, and WORK! How different of now and then...

Everyone's busy-busy with the food.

Photos were little because we were busy eating and chatting. Even the photo-queen Jet are taking less photos that night.

Jet's busy with food.Poh Yan's busy texting and receiving calls on her phone!Put down the phone and take picture with me!

The owner of the restaurant, the charming Mr. William and Mrs. Justina were so friendly that he offered free kim-chi and rice-wine classes and even 10% discount the next time we're going there! Thank you Mr. William!

Taken by the not-so-profesional "Dai Cheong Kam" staff. After removing the table. Aahh, so much better...

After the night ended, Lily and Jet move on to another makan-makan session, while we stand outside the restaurant and chit-chatted there, with Kelly telling us dirty-but-stupid jokes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!

It's been a amazing 2007! I have stepped into new year, additional a number increased into my age. I never admit I am old, just getting wiser! Haha...

The great things (I'm not gonna mention my BAD things) I've done in the year 2007:
  1. Graduated!
  2. Got a job, with great colleagues!
  3. Got my very own car.
  4. Bought my first investment - unit trust!
  5. Got my first credit (plastic) card!
  6. Bought my first oversea holiday package.
  7. Got my hair permed (after a loooOOoog time of consideration).
  8. Actively selling and buying from eBay.com (e-commerce mar...)

Where did I go on New Year's Eve? I didn't go anywhere, just rest at home. But I went to Bukit Tinggi, Pahang on 30th Dec. The place does not live up to my expectation. Disappointed with the place and the each and every RM of the food and souvenirs (which can be easily bought from Sungai Wang Plaza). The pictures from Internet shows beautiful view of the place, but when I go there in person, the things were not as seems as how they are promoted. I will blog on that later...

I haven't figure out what's my resolution for the year 2008. What's your New Year resolution?
