My Crave and Uncanny Regime

These few days, I craved for McDonald's McChicken, French Fries and McFlurry Oreo! But I'm not saying this because there is this competition going around where people are chanting:

“Two All-Beef Patties,
Special Sauce, Lettuce,
Cheese, Pickles,
Onions On A Sesame Seed Bun!”

... in 3 seconds flat! Phew! The best video clip wins RM10,000!!! At least you wouldn't have to eat cockroaches, sleep with rattling snakes, or drink blended cow's brain to win yourself RM10,000 right?

I wonder whether Seremban's McD have this competition or not (forgive me, it's been 3 weeks since I hanged out at shopping complexes). If they do, I WILL DEFINITELY TRY IT!!! The winner gets a Big Mac FREE! Then I will buy a Pepsi, flash my McD Kids Card and a FREE small French Fries... (Eh, eh, eh, can't I have Kids Card? They force me to sign up okay? You want to know who forced me? It's the staff from Kota Kinabalu's Drive-Thru McD!) ... and then, I will have a complete set of meal - burger, fries and a drink!

Ah, did you know that I have some uncanny beauty regime?

1. I applied hand cream on my feet! The other day, I found out that my feet are so dry, and I was holding the St. Ives Vitamin E Hand Cream. Then, I looked at St. Ives... and I looked down to my feet, and back to St. Ives. "Hmm... if it works for hands, then it should be no problem for my feet, right???".
2. I leave hair conditioner on my hair longer than recommended on the instructions. I want to let it penetrate deep into each strands of my hair. (Aih... but my hair didn't turn out shiny also!)
3. I apply body lotion right after I came out from shower. And with some moisture on my skin, I applied generous amount of body lotion. I presume that the pores of my skin are still "open" when I stepped out of the shower. Simple science: (pores open + moisture on skin) + body lotion = pore traps lotions effectively = skin absorbs better = soft smooth velvety skin!
4. After I pinched and removed blackheads out of my face (my nose espeacially), I will clean the spot with Dettol Anti-Bacterial Handwash! My theory is that if the handwash kills 99.99% of bacterial and germs on my hand, then it absolutely can kill the "blackhead germs" on my nose/face and prevents zits from appearing the next morning. It works, I tell ya!

Below are some random shots taken during my stopover at the nursery. This flower is so cute, I tell ya! I don't know what's the name of it, but the plant was hanged high up to let the flowers slumped down. The small flowers joined together to shape a hemisphere. Sweet!



Feng shui equipment for your home. Not so costly - the big clay pot cost about RM300, the motor priced about RM70 and each "kiambang" plant cost RM1 each. Nope, it doesn't guarantee you that you will strike 4D Toto every time.


My favorite flower of all time - the bright sunny gerbera aka daisy. I want to buy a pot of these, but Mum said, "It won't grow once we bring back home!". Sigh...


I must get out of my house this weekend - do some shopping, get Mum's present (Ooi... Mother's Day this Sunday leh!), and most importantly - McDONALD's! I'll be dreaming of you tonight, McChicken, McFlurry and French Fries... la... la... la... la... la~ I'm loving it!

Japanese Garden, Bukit Tinggi

The following photos were backdated long long time ago - 31 December 2007 in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang! I went there to celebrate the countdown of New Year. I didn't stay until midnight for the countdown though, somewhat came up and we went downhill to Bentong to get together with Wei-Hwa's aunt. Anyway, we went to few prominent attraction of Bukit Tinggi - French Town, Japanese Garden and Bunny Farm.

If you never been to Bukit Tinggi before, you can give it a try, but IMHO, it's not worth the second time. French Town is unexciting, and Bunny Farm is just a tiny land with lotsa bunnies hopping around. The only place worth going again - Japanese Garden, Bukit Tinggi in fact is the world's first Japanese Tea House in tropical forest. But when I think of the 3 hours drive from Seremban to Bukit Tinggi, I shivered!

1. French Town (Colmar Tropicale)

Colorful French-theme resort in Bukit Tinggi, managed by Berjaya Group. It's a small small town, with shops promoting souvenirs that easily available from the local flea markets. The restaurants are overpriced, serve up not-so-delicious food, and waitress I met are not-so-friendly.

Colmar Tropicale is the unique French-themed attraction at Bukit Tinggi Resort. It stands 2,600 feet above sea level on 80 acres of natural forestland. The first of its kind in Malaysia, it is modelled after the 16th Century Colmar Village in Alsace, France and has retained the authenticity and European feel of its counterpart. Submerge yourself in the French countryside ambience at Colmar Tropicale as its beautiful architecture and furnishings bring you back to times of yore.

Here we are, having our brunch at one of the restaurant (forgot the name of it). Buffet brunch - they serves Chinese and Western style breakfast plus lunch. Psst... they make bland omelets, even I can do better (muahaha... maybe!).

2. Japanese Garden

The second place I went was the Japanese Garden. Well, I expect that most of you have read Beverly's blog entry on Portland's Japanese Garden. Malaysia's Japanese Garden is not that bad, just that the weather is warm compared to Portland's, no big bonzai, no snow, and no Sakura tree. Ah?!? No sakura tree and you call yourself a JAPANESE GARDEN ar?

Japanese Village, The first of its kind outside Japan. It encompasses a Japanese Tea House & Garden, Ume Tatami Suit. Reataurant is japanese stlye and The garden is designed japanese architect.

Every detail observe captures the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship at its most authentic. And the garden was planned and designed by renowned Japanese architect, Mr Kaio Ariizumi and built by a team of 22 skilled craftsmen from Japan.

This is the grand pathway to the Japanese Garden.
Pretty nice... and lucky there's tall trees to provide cool shades.

It's so huge, I stopped many times to catch my breath.

Ever tried kedondong juice with asam boi? I didn't know kedondong is from a tree, which is so tall and huge, no wonder they charge RM2.00 per glass. It's so delicious! But I can only find it in Mantin, Seremban.

3. Bunny Farm

Last trip of the day, before we head down to Bentong, Pahang - Rabbit Farm, 7 minutes drive from. It's nothing special, just a land with bunnies, camels, donkeys and deers.

Phew, that's wrap up the trip to Bukit Tinggi. For those who never been there, give Bukit Tinggi a try. You wouldn't regret it! You get a shot of France and Japanese under one place! Great deal right? Hahaha...

Men's shopping indulgence

I'm absolutely sure that all girls out there who get nagging from boyfriend/husband that you shop TOO much. They will say, "Didn't you just bought eye-shadows last week?", or, "Eh, you have so many shoes already! Some you didn't wear it at all... And now you are getting NEW ones?!?".

But now I'm gonna show you that there is this particular guy who LOVES shopping as much as girls do! And this special guy is no other than my boyfriend! Woo---hoo---! Rejoice... rejoice!!!

Sigh, but he do get tired of walking easily.

Since Wei-Hwa was back from Portland last Saturday, he fell sick (all thanks to the weather and time zone) and now under-going medicines and lots of sleep to tune back his biological clock (which went cuckoo~). Second word that came out of his mouth (his first word was: I wanna eat Chinese food...) when I went to KLIA to fetch him the other day: PORTLAND WAS GREAT! I LOVE IT!!! He loved the weather (cause it's cool), loved the people, and loved their shopping policy (you can ask for a 100% money back refund if you are dissatisfied with the product!).

So, I swear to myself that I will save up enough money to Portland for some retail therapy and at the same time meet up my good ol' pal - Beverly. I even asked my mummy dearest to sponsor me some $$$... Hahahawtf... She kept quiet when I told her that.

Back to the story of my guy who loves shopping: he got me a Guess necklace as anniversary present! Is it nice, or is it nice?



The following items are the items that I asked his help to buy for me. Hahaha... and I pay him back ala installment style. *wink*wink* With 0% interest. No special condition. No approval needed. No papers to sign.

Category 1: Skincare

He bought Clinique Pore Minimizer T-Zone Shine Control (because my face can get so oily, it shines and reflected light, causing emergency traffic jams wtf).

I also asked him to help me get: Super City Block 40 SPF and All About Eyes Rich. Others are all FREE GIFT! Muahahaha...

Category 2: Intimates

Panties from Victoria's Secret as Beverly said, "Get this for Mei-Wah! She can't get this from Malaysia!". So, Bev chose some, her hubby chose some and Wei-Hwa chose some. I got the shock of my life when Wei-Hwa told me that they chose 5 cute panties for me!
(Means all of them know my size wtf???)

Category 3: Sleep wear

This oh-so-cute pajama from Forever 21 - so cute, so-not-worth-it, and YET I wanna have it! The cashier double charged Wei-Hwa, and I have sent an complaint e-mail to F21 demanding explanation but yet to receive their reply. Sigh...

Category 4: Tops and Tunics

Tops, tunics and polo-tee from F21, Aeropostale and Tommy Hilfiger.
I don't have to buy clothes for CNY 2009, 2010, 2011 and prolly till 2020!

Category 5: Bottoms

(Ever heard of this superstitious beliefs that you can't buy shoes for your other half? And if you do, you put 20 cents into a red angpow and give it to him/her. The Chinese believes that giving shoes as gift encourages your other half to "runaway" and to look for other girls/guys.

Category 7: FOOD!!!

Yes yes yes... happy cause I got lotsa new clothes (which are relatively cheap in States), but I'm so broke this month! Same fate goes to him too... Sigh... Guess that I should stop shopping wtf!

I am actually watching Indiana Jones on cable television (I am so stingy, my mum are so stingy, my dad are so stingy... we don't wanna install Astro wtf) while typing this entry at the same time. Girls have the capability of multi-tasking, don't you think so? We can eat while blogging, surf the net, and at the same time watching television! I can open lots of tabs in my Firefox, but Wei-Hwa can only surf one website at a time! Hahahaha... Gurrlll power!

I love to do revision for exams in front of the TV (6pm till 8pm got Chinese dramas okay?), while having dinner!!! Muahaha... and I still get excellent results okay?

Recently, I got so bored of working. I loss the same feeling of when I first entered the company. You know - the enthusiastic and full of positive "chi" in you - ready for any challenge, ready for any task. Now - I am like a turtle, walking slowly, doing my daily task slowly to let the time pass by quickly... Argh... I MUST CHANGE MY ATTITUDE!!! Darn...

Back to Indiana Jones! I realised that my blog go out of topic one lor... Sigh sigh double sigh...
