Date: 1 December 2008
Venue: Disneyland, Hong Kong
Phew, life has been hectic lately. I've been preparing cupcakes, decorations and boxes for Mother's Day orders (for one and half weeks in a row!), went to Cherating, Kuantan for company's 2 days 1 night training camp, and fall sick the next day. After neglecting my premier blog for quite some time, it's definitely the time for some "new" updates, or else I would be losing YOU, my friends cum readers. Sobs. :(
After a short poll, here is the post as decided by you. :) A short recap: Wei-Hwa and I went to Disneyland HK one day trip during our Macau-Shenzhen-Hong Kong tour from 27 November to 2 December 2008. Among the 3 places that we have been, Hong Kong is our favorite place! We would definitely return back to Hong Kong someday! Solely HK that is! ;)
There are other places that we have explored, food we have tried; before we depart to Disneyland, but I will keep that for another day.

Took the Disney themed monorail to Disneyland! Oh boy I was excited!
That's me clad in Zara jacket, Forever 21 dress, black tights and boots (from Shenzhen). Sigh, how I wish I would wear that combination in Malaysia (unless I don't mind risking heat stroke wtf). I feel in love with HK's winter season, cold just the way I love it.
Sweetie pie and I.
Everything - from window to handles are Mickey themed!
Aww... thanks baby for sponsoring! Muahhh :k
Yeaaa, we arrived and the great Christmas tree welcomed us. Sigh, I miss the Christmas feel in HK.
Band serenading Christmas songs.
Happy family with happy Chip and Dale. Nope, we didn't able to take photo with ANY Disney characters as the queue was seriously looooonnngggg.
The plants that I feel in love with, as it was sprinkled with gold dust! Very Christmasy feel indeed. I wanna get this plant for my home too.
Our first kiddo ride. It goes round and round, up and down. :(
Okay okay, you can laugh at my horrified facial expression! (Look at Wei-Hwa, why he's not scared?) Honestly, this ride was bloodcurdling terrifying, I nearly peed in my pants!!! It was dark inside, with lotsa stars up above the ceiling that made you feel as if you were in space. Super cool ride!
Next, we gonna shoot some monsters ala Toy Story!
Can't snap this properly as it was projected by laser. :( But it was hell of a fun game! Wei-Hwa and I were seated in a cute individual 2 seater "space ship" whereby it can turn 360 degrees. Each of us grabbed a "laser gun", shoot at monsters, gained points and helped Buzz to save the world! :D
Next, the longest (yet fun) ride - It's A Small World!

DISNEY CHRISTMAS PARADE!
It was a beautiful and colorful parade indeed! It was a joy standing there among the crowd, trying my best to get the best view. The weather was cool, just perfect for the moment! Just imagine if this parade would be in Malaysia? OMG, the parade would stink with sweats and body odour. :D
We went up the tree house where we discovered the history of Tarzan - from baby Tarzan, turning into hunky handsome drool-worthy Tarzan.
The castle which we had appointment with LATER.
THE FIREWORKS!
I will upload the fireworks video clip after I convert the video's format from .mod to .mov (blah blah blah...). In simple words, I will upload to Youtube after I converted the video format. In the meantime, enjoy the breathtaking photos first. :)

The fireworks were utterly FANTASTIC! I'm out of words to describe the incredible-ness LOL. Wait till I upload the video and you would understand the "wow-ness".
Souvenir shop and the same Christmas tree that welcomed us in the afternoon.
It was 10.00 pm and I quickly rushed to get some Disney souvenirs, although it was freakingly high priced. Boost Disneyland's economy wtf.
As the doors of Disneyland closing, musical fountain resonates songs and changed colors, a sign of saying "bye-bye" to all Disneyland visitors.
We bid bye-bye to Disneyland, Hong Kong and hope to meet again reaalll soon!
But hey, it's not the end of the post yet! We went to Mongkok (where we were staying) for late night snacks... which were SMELLY TOFU!!! We think twice before we decided to put this horrid thing into our mouth.
Out of our expectation, the smelly tofu (HKD7 for 2 pcs) turned out YUMMY! Seriously do, and we're not bluffing you (hey, it rhymes).
Smelly tofu can't keep our tummy full for long, so we reward our tummy with some full-filing warm noodles (HKD18 each), with dumpling and fish cakes.
BIG bowl, BIG portion that need someone with BIG appetite.
