Wish 1: Accomplished

One of my wishes had come true wtf! He returned back to Malaysia on 26 April, and the first thing he said when he stepped into the car was, "I wanna eat CHINESE food!". Hahaha... The first thing to do: Chinese food! Sweet sour pork, tofu, local vege and Chinese tea - simple, yet he craved for it when he was in Portland.

Second thing to do:
HAPPY 29 months ANNIVERSARY BABY!

It's been 29 months since I caught your eyes (or you caught mine) and our relationship stayed strong as ever (despite the arguments, misunderstanding, crying and whining, cold shoulders, silent wars, oh my, never ending list goes on...)! But hey, which couple stays lovey-dovey every single minute, for their entire life?

And where is my anniversary pressie?

Double Celebration

Woo---hoo---!!!

The day that I have been waiting for has finally arrive! My dearest boy-friend is finally coming back, and thank god, it's Saturday! I just can't wait to fetch him at the airport later (with all the goodies, the photographs, the videos and the little something from a thoughtful friend).

Double woo---hoo---!!!

It's salary day! Wahahaha... double happiness for me! Credit card statement, study loan, car insurance, car loan, installments, (oh-my-gawd... starting to turn into a long list!) etc etc... Payments, payments, payments! Darn it...

Off I go now... Get myself ready to fetch WH from airport! I missed him SO much, I cried when I skype with him... Swear to myself, must hug him tight-tight in the airport, don't care the hell whether people will look at me (like some kind of alien) or not.

Ciao~

Top 10 Wish List

The following 10 things are what I wished to have IF I bumped into Genie...

1. To have WH back home right now - minus the time flying.

2. A whole set of Lonely Planets books.

3. An iPhone.

4. Benefit thrrrob.
Turn on the flush, turn up the rush... with thrrrob, the new "turned on" face powder. This pulse-racing pink powder simulates the natural flush you get when your heart races. With accompanying brush, lay it on light across cheekbones, forehead and chin. Then sit back & let the excitement begin! It's a turn on!

5. Free air ticket for WHOLE LIFE. (*dream on lah...)

6. Pink Sony Vaio.

7. Tiffany & Co. bling-bling!

8. A pink mini cooper.

9. Louis Vuitton Duomo.

10. Louis Vuitton Pivoine Sandal 4 inch In Patent Calf Leather.

DREAM ON...

Other than item #1 which can be achieve soon (woo---hoo--- WH will reach KL on 26 April, 6:35 pm), the others are beyond my reach. Aih... better bath now, sleep earlier and sing along to Everly Brothers' Dream:

Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
When I want you in my arms
When I want you and all your charms
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream

When I feel blue in the night
And I need you to hold me tight
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam

I can make you mine, taste your lips of wine
Anytime night or day
Only trouble is, gee whiz
I'm dreamin' my life away

I need you so that I could die
I love you so and that is why
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam

Why am I so emo tonight???

GOOD NIGHT MALAYSIA~

MDG = Manyak Dungu Gila

The TOP 3 has finally out!

Introducing: Ah-lian, Gal-with-braces, The-Bitch

MDG is not getting any interesting. AT ALL! In fact, it is getting lame and the-MDG-material-gurl Jay is being eliminated! *sob*sob*sob*

GREAT! Now, MDG is left with Adeline (ah-lian), Hanis (I think probably she will win, cause her photo shoots were great and I like her the most, compared with the other two), and the BITCHY Cindy!

GUESS WHO WILL DRIVE AWAY THE NISSAN LATIO?

Crossed my fingers, let Hanis win...

A day with Siew Yee, Morrie and Pancakes

I hate public transport. Not that I was being so "princess" or "siu jie" or something, but public transport in Malaysia is so lousy! If anyone of you been to Singapore, you will understand why. (Haha, the only oversea country that I have been is only Singapore. I got no money to go other places, okay? So, I can only brag about Singapore, or Sabah... Hahahawtf!)

(OMGOMGOMG!!! Vitamin A, D and beta carotene will shorten one's life by 16 percent! I just heard it from the news. Vitamins are BAD for health! It's a form of drug, you know?)

Last Saturday, I took the commuter with friend of mine to MidValley for some food indulgence. Reasons why I wanna take the commuter: I never drive to KL before, I never dare (laugh with all your heart!), I wanna save petrol wtf and I wanna save Mother Nature by reducing the release of carbon monoxide wtf.

On our way to MidValley (met up with Siew Yee at UKM station), I had my chance of reading a book which I bought LONG time ago, but got no time to read it. An inspiration book for all - Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom (author of "The Five People You Meet In Heaven"). I only read half-way, but so far it's a book worth reading again and again (Albom's England is simple (for me) and straight to the point, not like those going around the bushes, flowery words, oh tuhan... buat aku mau tidur saja!).

One of the quote from the book that I found interesting:
So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.
We reached MidValley, and hoo-ray we head straight to Paddington - House of Pancakes (PHOP) IMMEDIATELY cause we are too darn hungry. There are numerous bloggers who blogged about PHOP before, and before I get to know that PHOP is a restaurant selling pancakes, I thought Paddington - House of Pancakes is THIS (OMG, why am I so kampung wan?):

Minta ampun for the blur pictures. Took them all with camera phone, but quality also acceptable okay? Just bear with it...

My date of the day: Siew Yee. My bestie since Standard 2 (let me count... 17 years!) and we shared the ups and downs of friendship. During Standard 3 (that was year 1993), we (together with another friend - Siow Mei) opened up a COLORING CLUB! Our MAIN motive was to make money! See how money minded we are. We are only 9 years old okay!?! We collected 50 cents from participant, give them something to color, and using the money that we collected, we bought present for the winner (eraser/pencil sharpener/plastic cheap pencil box/etc). AND WE STILL MANAGE TO EARN SOME MONEY! Hahaha...

She's studying in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and she's still available! She can cook very well (unlike me), love to clean the house, loyal, good listener, and studying Masters in Quality bla... bla... bla... Any decent, single, good man out there who wanna know about this best friend of mine, let me know ya! Leave a comment/e-mail me!

Ignore my eye-bags, my small eyes, swollen eyes and my dull complexion. Oh, how I miss my long hair... my golden crown...

NOW DROOL ON THIS!

Tokyo (RM18.50)
grilled chicken with tomato sauce on top, chicken ham with cheese on top, mashed potato, cherry tomatoes and lettuce rolled up in pancakes.

Humble verdict of mine: Food were delicious, pancakes were flipped right, lettuce were crunchy, cherry tomatoes were juicy and fresh, chicken breast were grilled perfectly, and the cheese on the ham were heavenly! Rating 8 out of 10!

However, on the other hand, there are some suggestion to make it EVEN BETTER - by using chicken thigh meat and not chicken breast meat because it's too dry lar...

Overall: we were EXTREMELY happy with the price, the taste, the portion (it's HUGE okay!).

Definitely gonna return back to PHOP! Their service were great too! But DON'T site on their sofa. Your whole body will sink into the sofa, not suitable for eating, but great if you just go there for a drink. Oh dewi kuan yin, who will go to PHOP for drink? Hahahawtf...

Drool... drool... drool...

It's desert time!
We ordered Apple Fritters (RM18.50).
You see? So darn affordable right, the price?

Apple fritters (it's like yau char kuai, but it's green apple they are frying), with coconut flakes on the outside, making it TASTE SO GOOD!

Served with non-fat cream (I suppose), slices of strawberries, raisin and pancake (with hidden treasure inside - 2 scoops of smooth vanilla ice-creams!)

It's so heavenly... We felt that we are the happiest girl in the world. For one moment, I forget about my diet plan, the time and my budget. Hehehe...

PHOP even provided CARAMEL for us to pour on top of it! OMGOMG, how much I love caramel! Caramel ice-cream, caramel inside Snickers, caramel in Cadbury Eclairs, caramel~caramel~caramel...

All their plates are hot! Our both Tokyo and Apple Fritters' plates were hot! The waiters even used pair of mitten to serve the food to their customers. But amazingly, the ice-cream did not melt!

Stop drooling and go try it for yourself!

PHOP is worth going again and again... My aim is to try all their food from their menu! Buahahaha... *evilish laugh* To those who wanna go to PHOP, but didn't know where, location is stated here, just go to the one whichever close to you:

After lunch (which is so full, it lasted until dinner! Hoo--ray-- I saved on my dinner! Hahahawtf...), we head on to Borders and I bought 3 books. Eh, did you know Borders always have this "Buy 3, Pay 2" promotion? So, the less expensive item is free... Buahahaha... I LOVE BORDERS!

We head back to Seremban at 5:30 pm. The crowd were HUGE and all were pushing to get into the commuter because the next commuter schedule were CANCELLED! We were so lucky to catch this one to get back home! And remember earlier when I mentioned that I hate public commuters? When the crowd gets uncontrollable, chances of wallets/purses/handphones being stolen (silently) are VERY HIGH too... I hold on to my handbag sooOOoo close, I can feel the sweat from my armpit dripped on it lor... (hahahawtf~)

And at that moment, I heard a girl shouting, "Eh, someone stole my purse!". Being a typical Malaysian, I curi-curi listen to the girl's conversation with her friends. I look around for the bad guy (at the same time clutching my handbag CLOSE to my chest). Aiyer... look at Malaysia's public transport - so UGLY! Anyway, just becareful with your surrounding lor...

Counting down to 26 April 2008!

Money $aving Strategies

1. Track spending and evaluate results. By tracking your spending habits, you'll get an idea of where you spend your money. By evaluating the results, you can see if you're using money for things that aren't really necessary. For example, do your monthly membership fees go to a gym you never have time to visit? Do you buy coffee every morning when it's available in your office for free? Look at all the places where you can save money; even small outlays can add up.

2. Pay yourself first. This idea is certainly not new, but it's a strategy that starts a consistent savings program. Unless your entire paycheck is earmarked for monthly bills and necessities, you should be able to put money into savings every month. If you get a raise, add that money to what you're putting aside.

3. Company savings plans. Many companies offer 401(k) plans. Take advantage of them. If one isn't available, open an IRA. Use direct deposit for these retirement savings accounts so you're not tempted to spend the money elsewhere.

4. Forget the plastic. Limit yourself to one or two credit cards with the best rates, and use them for only major purchases or emergencies. Also, pay off your credit card balances monthly.

5. Learn how to shop. The Internet provides a very easy way to compare prices. Look for lower prices, discounts, sales, and coupons. Check out price comparison Web sites, such as AllBusiness.com, Shopping.com, and BizRate.com. Avoid paying surcharges, late fees, and other fees for convenience. Shop from lists rather than browsing the aisles, and establish a firm "no impulse buy" policy.

6. Look to save on your home. Look for lower mortgage rates and refinance. Also, while paying off your home mortgage each month, round up. You can pay off the loan a little faster, and save a surprisingly high amount of the interest over time.

7. Save on utilities. Review the offers from competing phone and electric companies. Look for energy-saving appliances, and save some money by opening windows when it's warm, and using a second blanket when it's cold.

8. Be car smart. Find a mechanic you can trust before paying big bucks for unnecessary repairs. Don't buy a second or third car that will hardly be used or will sit at the train station. Look for lower gas prices in your neighborhood, and keep your engine tuned, trunk uncluttered, and tires properly inflated to save on gas.

9. Get everyone onboard. Discuss ways of saving money and establishing good spending habits with everyone in your household.

10. Read the fine print. Review your bills carefully, including your credit card statements. Errors in billing cost customers millions of dollars each year. Also, in this new age of warranties included with every major purchase, read the fine print carefully, and buy only what will be valuable for those products most likely to need service.

Article extracted from HERE. Sorry lar... I was too lazy to think of what to write okay??? So, mai copy and paste lor~

After reading the article, I think I really need to get myself moving and start saving for my future:

  • First, I should STOP thinking of what I should tumpang WH to buy in the US.
  • Secondly, I should not indulge in Starbucks/Coffee Bean/Old Town wtf (you must be saying: "What? Old Town also cannot ar?"). Of course lar, let me calculate for you: one Old Town White Coffee ice is about RM3.50. IF you buy Old Town instant coffee pack of 15 sachets for RM10.99 (aim for promotion lah!), actually one cup that you make actually cost you around RM0.75! Hooray... you save more than 200%!
  • Third: wait until something really broken, then only buy new one to replace. (I am waiting for my current cellphone to be completely dead!)
  • Fourthly, be very VERY stingy and be like those aunties. Put on your thickest face and ASK FOR MORE DISCOUNTS!
  • Fifth - do not throw away your 1 cents! Although 1 cents not valid for transactions anymore, BUT, don't forget that 1 cents is made of chrome! Keep it and sell it off to kedai besi buruk wtf! The value of chrome for 1 syiling is HIGHER than the value of the cent.
  • Sixth - Pump petrol in the NIGHT! Let me refresh your Form 3 Science: when there are heat, petrol will mengembang and when weather is cool, petrol will mengecut. So, when you pump during the scorching day (you pump in kembang punya petrol), and then petrol will mengecut in the night, causing you to GAIN LESS of what you paid.

I'm watching Malaysian Dreamgirl (MDG) now... It's the most ridiculous reality show I have ever watched lor!

The only Dreamgirl material is Jay (although she looks like Thailand sexy transsexual), but I love her posing, love her style, love her unique facial features (compared with other Dreamgirls! Others were like petite (she's from Seremban okay?), with braces, ah-lian looking with bad English, some with a mouth SO BIG, it can fit a whole Hup Seng cream crackers into it! OMG~ There's one with Shin Chan eyebrows (so thick, you can hardly imagine how come she got through top 12 wtf?!?), and one who acted so angelic and innocent looking, but actually, she's a bimbo, bitch in disguise! Muahahahaa...

Eww... super sien show. But hey~ give some credit to it lar! After all, it's a all-Malaysian-made reality show. Sien sien sien~~~

Don't cha wish this happens to you too?

Don't you just wish that the rain falls so heavily that it floods away your company so that you wouldn't have to wake up at 7.00 am, goes to work at 7.45 am and starts work at 8.00 am?

Sigh...

My wish was granted BUT the rain wasn't heavy enough to flood away the whole company. But it NEARLY flooded my poot-poot-cheh! Mummy to the rescue! I saved my poot-poot-cheh and place it at somewhere safe and sound. So, I braved myself, rolled up my pants, removed my stockings, wore my aunty-slippers and stepped into the (1 feet deep) murky, yellowish-teh-tarik-color, dirty water, walked to my car and drive it away to a safer area.

Just take a look on how scary the situation are! Electricity were cut off, waters were getting so high, the road has become a river! My first experience for me, and I am so EXCITED wtf that I took pictures of today's biggest flood! Wahaha... happiest thing is that I wouldn't have to work for 2 hours! Woo---hoo---!!! After moving my car to much safer place, I went up to my table, took my camera-phone and start snapping pictures!

Water water everywhere!!! I got so scared that I started to stupidly think, "OMG, what if the water continue to rise and our safest place is no longer safe? What if our cars can't be started? How to go back home? Who will pay for car repair? OMGOMGOMG!!!". But in the other side of my brains - "Yeah yeah~~ no need to come to work tomorrow! Woo---hoo---"... (^.^)

So scary that the road has become a sea...

This BMW dunno-what-series belongs to one of our customers and they have no fear at all. Flood seems to be a piece-of-cake to them. Look at their car - so LC looking that it's actually saying, "Aiyar, you kampung-cars-all-cheaper-than-me-wtf, little bit of downpour and you all got so terrified. Look at me lah!".

I hate you, BMW!

Me and JenFon's signature feet, clad in aunty-slippers, with rolled-up jeans.

Hafiz, doing what he does best!

How come Toyota cars owners not takut of the water one? Why the hell am I so freaked out (scared engine can't start lar, scared water goes into my interior lar, scared insurance tak tanggung lar, scare this, scared that). Toyota cars are so good meh until they can stand flood ar? I want Yaris also wtf...

Camwhoring with the teh-tarik water behind us!
Die lar, if boss saw this picture, sure kena goreng sotong for sure!

Even the operators are happy with the downpour! Rejoice~

Wahahaha... Look at the flooding dustbin wtf!

Look at the HANDSOME BMW! I hate BMW... Who asked you to be so leng zai?

Darn it, flood's gone and I have to wake up at 7 am, goes to work at 7.45 am and punch the card at 8 am. Darn darn darn~~~ Read more at The Star newspaper!
