I am terribly sorry for the delayed update on my Macau, Shenzhen and Hong Kong trip. Phew, it has been a hectic and tiring 5 days trip. One day we're in Macau, the other day we gotta pack our stuffs and move to Shenzhen. Sigh... I swear to myself I would not follow tour anymore! When you would love to spare a lil' bit more time on sleeping, the room's telephone rang and the automatic voice of a female woke you up; at 7 am! It was that bad. You must be on time for everything, unless you wanna pissed everyone in the bus for being late. :( You bathed like a cow, you eat like a hog, you run like a hyena and you shop like a mad woman wtf. Oklar, I'm exaggerating. But, part of it is totally true. Yadda yadda yadda, let's talk about my trip.
Arrival at Macau.
We arrived Macau International Airport at 3:40 pm (local time).

We are aliens wtf! Haha... We filled up some related custom documents in the plane before arrival.
Wei-Hwa pretending to be hardworking so that he can earn extra brownie points.
The first sight of Macau. The air were so polluted, it was worse than KL!
Short Tour Around Macau.
As we are in the tour, we ought to be in the tour bus 60% in the day, listening to what the tour guide are explaining. I admit - it was totally boring to be in the bus, listening to something that can be read up from Lonely Planet or Wikitravel or Wikipedia. Sigh... Yet, we can't complain much as that's what tour is.

We are clueless on what to be expected at the end of the tour.
Macau are beautifully landscaped.
First Stop: Largo Do Pagode Da Barra
Largo Do Pagode Da Barra wtf whatever that means, it means only one thing: Temple! If the tour guide didn't bring you to temple, that's totally incomplete. Seriously, which tour didn't bring you to temples? Sigh... It's not that I'm against temples or anything, but why waste the time going to temples (which all looked the same to me)?

Here we are!
First stop to temple. We have numerous visits to temples. Sigh. :(
The leaves are greener in Macau wtf.
We made a short stroll around the temple. Oklar, the temple is so small anyway, how am I suppose to make long stroll. Hahaha.
Nothing much special here, and we moved on to the tour bus to our next stop.
Ruins of St. Paul's (Ruínas de São Paulo). Macau's most famous landmark. If you came to Macau, but never pay a visit to Ruins of St. Paul's, then you have not been to Macau, at all.
I love their school uniform! :)
In 2005, the Ruins of St. Paul were officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Macau. Read more here.
Look at the people that swarmed the area!
We were hungry, and we chose "curry fish ball" as our hunger saviour~
It's hard to notice where we were among the crowd.
We wanna do something silly here. :) Notice the statue behind of us? That's the statue of a man and a woman, where the woman is giving a stalk of rose to the man.
Well, I don't have rose with me, I substitute it with Portugese egg tart instead. Lol~ :D
Portugese egg tart which cost Rm3.50 each! :o Extremely dear and out of my expectation of "tasty".
Snap kao-kao with the remaining of St. Paul.
That's the back of St. Paul. You can actually climb up the stairs and take a better look of Macau. We are with the tour remember, so we don't have extra time to panjat tangga. Sien.
Macau Fisherman Wharf
But hey the architecture of the buildings were nice anyway.
The Macau Fisherman's Wharf (Doca dos Pescadores) is the first theme park in Macau. The complex includes over 150 stores and restaurants in buildings built in the style of different world seaports such as Cape Town, Amsterdam and Venice, six rides, a slots hall, a 72-room hotel, and a casino.
(To be honest, I didn't know it was the first theme park; I didn't realise there's over 150 stored and restaurant; I never been to Cape Town, Amsterdamn or Venice, so I can't comment on this; I seriously didn't see any rides there! What I really saw was hotels and casinos fullstop)But hey the architecture of the buildings were nice anyway.
Hotel cum casino.
We had a short romantic stroll there, and the weather were so cold, I was freeze to death. Okay, if compared with other country, the "cold" in Macau were minor. But for me a 24/7 Malaysian, the weather is unbearable! :o Lucky for me, I had my warm bear by my side... ;)
Go check out Macau Fisherman's Wharf official website here. They have very "techie" interactive webpage. "Dun play-play". :)
Portugese Styled Dinner.

Portugese Styled Dinner.
After a short stroll at Fisherman's Wharf, we head on for Portugese styled dinner, before checking into our hotel.
We gotta get through the narrow pathway before reaching the restaurant.
Panda Portugese Restaurant. Haha, what a name! (@_____@) I didn't snap the pictures of the food. Well, actually I snapped the picture of the first food served to me, and guessed what? The other member of the tour stared at me, puzzled with my act. :@ That killed my passion for food photography. Sigh. :x
Fortuna Hotel.
After dinner, we checked into our hotel for the night. The name of the hotel were erm... kinda weird - Fortuna Hotel ("Choy San" Hotel) :D. Don't laugh. Hahaha, I just can't help it.
The rooms were good enough for the night. :) I have no complaints, although there are room for slight improvement: matress were extremely hard and the pillow weren't down feather type. Princess side of me wtf.
Cutesy bathroom.
Venetian Casino.
Ooyeah, the most talked about grand, expensive casino!

The Venetian Macao is the second largest building in the world and the biggest integrated resort in Asia.(Kenny Sia, 2007)
The night's getting chilly. Luckily I had on my RM59.90 Zara wool jacket. Need to emphasize the RM59.90 cos it's the best deal I ever grabbed on! :)
The inside of Venetian, which were sooo beautiful. :k
Hand painted clouds and blue skies, fooling you to think that it's warm and sunny inside, although it's frigidly cold and dark outside.
Human statue who never move even a bit! My salute to him. :)
Does he ever feel numb or what if a mosquito bite him, will he move to scratch? Lol...
Magic Tree Performance.
For some (free) performance, scheduled every 30 minutes in the night.

12 zodiacs in the Chinese calendar...
Which opens to reveal...
Revealing a beautiful crystal light. :)
Beautiful isn't it? I was mesmerized with the show.
The "magic tree" emerged from the ground and everyone went crazy and tossing coins to it.
How magical is it? This tree changes color according to the 4 seasons. Nah, not the tree that changed color, it's the effect of the lights. I'm not that doink wtf.
Summer.
Spring.
Autumn.
Winter.
After a good 15 minutes show, the tree returned back to the ground, and the ceiling closes. Wei-Hwa made a recording using his camcorder, but as I upload into Youtube (which took me freaking 1 hour), it turn out error. Sigh. In the end, I gave up.
Water Orchestra.
Water orchestra was scheduled every 30 minutes too. :) After the "Magic Tree" show, we walked to the other side of the hotel for water orchestra show (which were free too).

Wei-Hwa made a recording on this too. However, error message appeared when I tried to upload into Youtube. Sigh. I would not give up and will try uploading again next time! :) I'm thrilled to show you all the video we have recorded. One video will explain better than thousand pictures, right? :p
