Freaking Hair!

Fine Sunday morning...
My mum, my darling and me drive over to Seremban Market for breakfast, as usual. As usual, I ordered my favorite beef noodle (I do not wanna mention the shop's name. This beef noodle is the most popular in Seremban, need I say more?). I was happily feeding myself with the delicious noodle when I found HAIR in my bowl!!!

Eww...

Lost my appetite. Ordered rojak instead. Hehe...

Back from KK

I can still remember the day I come back to KL:
My luggage maximum 15 kg.
My laptop bag - unbearable 8 kg.
My duffel bag - maximum 7 kg.
Ah, and I got my sling bag to put petty stuffs - oil blotter, Veselin, student ID, etc etc.

Luckily for Pos Malaysia, I sent most of my other stuffs - books, magazines, rice cooker, kettle, radio, etc, via sea mail and air mail. Cost me over RM100 for that.

Waited for the plane to arrive (AirAsia famous for being "punctual"), run over to the plane (hopefully to get a good seat) WITH heavy laptop bag and duffel bag, stuffed my oversized bag into the storage area and finally settled down in hard, "plush" leather seating.

Arrived in LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal), waited till I'm the last so that my oversized bad won't kacau other people. Legs are getting painful from the heavy laptop bag. Walking slowly over to the luggage area and wait wait wait for our "babies" out from the womb...

Never like the moment of taking the plane (but worse than taking bus or train) for every semester break. Tired of packing, tired of waiting, tired of flying... But if fly to somewhere like Bora Bora, Bangkok or Japan for holiday... lain lah cakap...

Pirates of the Carribean - At World's End

On Sunday, I watched Pirates of the Carribean -At World's End. It's a hit movie. Very hard to get the tickets, and the nice seats with good view.

At the end, when tickets were bought, popcorns on hand, cardigan wrapped to body, all ready for the most anticipating movie (at least I hope I won't be bored to dead like Dead Men's Chest).

Starting of the show, I start to yawn. A bad sign.

Then, in the middle of the movie, my eyes begin to drop. Very bad sign.

In the end, when it's starting to get interesting, it came up with a part where I rolled my eyes.

I ROLLED MY EYES, when William and Elizabeth poured their heart out to each other, while doing the sword stunt. They were killing and kissing at the same time. Rolled my eyes.

In the end of the show, I am still clueless about the movie. Some said Dead Men's Chest is better than At World's End. Some said The Curse of Black Pearl was the best (I missed it).

My Dad Joked!

Haha... my oh-so-serious dad told me two jokes. The joke is very simple, yet it's funny. It's even funnier because it's my all-time serious dad who told me about it.

First joke:
Boy 1: What your dad working as?
Boy 2: My dad is a Director.
Boy 1 (amused): Wah! Your dad must be earning alot! Director wor! Manager like that ar?
Boy 2: Nope, he sits near the entrance of the building, directing people inside.
Boy 1: Cheh, Information Counter lar!

Not so funny, yet I laughed like hell.

Second joke:
Man 1: In my work, I got 1000 people under me.
Man 2: Wahlauyeh! You sure hold a very high post!
Man 1: Nope, I just hold the grass cutter. I work at the graveyard.


Hehe... second joke cracks me like hell! Hahahaha... Wait till I get more jokes from my serious dad!

Expenses in Seremban

Thanks to my dear pal who gave me the idea of calculating expenses in Seremban. This calculation is based on true people. I interviewed my colleague - a married man, with a 2 year old daughter and his wife is working in Putrajaya.

His basic salary is RM1,550, working as a maintenance technician. He has been working here for nearly 3 years. After minus the EPF and SOCSO, his nett income per month is RM1,300 (numbers being rounded for easier calculation).

He got a house and a car that is still under loan. He pays RM450 for car loan and RM620 for house loan and RM100 for bills. He was then left with RM130 for pocket money. He told me that

"Every month - without fail - I am left with RM130! Prices for all the things
are increasing, but my salary never increase!".

I have not add - his child's medical fees (2 years old need vaccination, milk powder, etc), day care for his daughter, groceries, petrol, cooking gas, etc.

I did not put in the account for - Astro, mamak, dinner at restaurants (once in a while), ... , etc.

He counted on his wife, who works as a clerk at government office in Putrajaya to help with the fnancial problem of his family.

Does his money enough to survive?

This is the view from the window of my room. Nice right? At around the time of 6.00pm, beautiful sky will appear. Maybe I'm too bored in my room, that I realise that the sky can be so stunning. Changes everytime you look at it.

The Twin Tower aka Canselori, where the university management team are all there. The building is very very nice, BUT when you have trouble with your finance, results or hostels, anything at all, you have to WALK the stairs, all the way to Twin Tower. Buses are provided, but they only drop you at the bottom of the hill. You have to take the stairs from there. Another speciality of this building is that the architect designed this building in a way that the sun rises from the bridge! Wow...

RM3000 enough to survive in Malaysia?

This is an email I received from my friend regarding how a family man can survive living with RM3000 a month (wife not working, 2 children).



Can a family man with salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia?
Let's do some simple calculations here. In Malaysia , the average family income is RM3,000 permonth (where father works, mother doesn't). I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son. Ngam-ngam...

Calculation starts...

Electricity and water bill: RM100
(No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?)

Phone bill ( Telekom): RM100

Meals for a happy family: RM775
(3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?)

Papa makan/ teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155
(RM5/day, RM5 ... can eat what?)

Car repayment: RM400
(A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)

Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam): RM300
(go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)

Insurance: RM650 (kids, wife and myself)

House repayment: RM750
(low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!)

Tuition: RM80 (got that cheap meh? i don't think so)

Older children pocket money @ school: RM20 (RM1/day, eat bread?)

School fees: RM30 (enough ah?)

School books and etc: RM100 (always got extra to pay in school)

Younger children milk powder: RM50 (cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)

Miscellaneous: RM100 (shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)

Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so...
No Astro, no movie @ cinema, no DVD, no CD, no online, cannot KFC, cannot McDonald, cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive), no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc...

Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EH! Shit! RM3,610 already...
EPF belum potong, income tax lagi... already RM3,610... How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian???

Our Deputy Prime Minister asked us to change lifestyle? How to change? Don't eat? Don't work? Don't send children to school and study? Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don't earn RM3,000/month!!! What is this? Inilah Malaysia Boleh... Sorry ... it should be Malaysians Boleh , because we're still alive and kicking!! Our politicians must be mad!

No wonder so many Ah Loong around lah...

Dogs want to be pretty too

Who say dog don't like to be pretty and neat all the time? My dog, DoDo stand in front of the mirror, look at himself for at least 30 minutes, EACH DAY!

Some People

There are some people who can talk bad (very loudly) behind someone's back (espeacially when the someone is actually someone in a very big position), but when the someone is present there, that people remained so silent and shut up his big mouth, just like a RABBIT.

This is the situation that I saw in my working area.

In other words, he is bitching behind people's back.

Odour

My 3 precious perfumes that I adore... Lumiere Rochas, cK IN2U and Anna Sui Secret Wish. My favorite will be Secret Wish by Anna Sui. Sweet and suitable for casual outing and everyday use. IN2U is a brand new perfume from Calvin Klein. A bit strong for me, but I still love it. Next will be Lumiere Rochas - a stronger perfume, more suitable for dinner.

ALL ARE FREE! Hehe... Anna Sui - I redeemed using loyalty card points, cK is from my boyfriend, and Rochas is from my boyfriend's sister, during her trip to HK. There's a shop in HK (Sasa lookalike), called Bonjour that sells tester perfume (not yet been opened) for about RM80! *twinkle*twinkle* Full size Salvatore Ferragamo perfume is only sold for RM80 at Bonjour, while here - it's selling for RM300! Siapa gila mau beli?

Anyway, why the hell am I talking bout perfumes? I just love perfumes. LOL... My all time favorite will be DKNY's cute green apple!

Good Samaritan

I listened to Mr. X as he told me the story of him bringing back stray dogs. He feed them, took care of them, bring them to veterinarian, etc, etc. Except that he does not bring 1 or 2 stray dogs back home, he bring 50 plus stray dogs!

He originated from KL, and he moved to Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan for the sake of his dogs. He bought a land here in N.S and built a house. Nearby his house were agriculture plantation, therefore he got no neighbors. He said that neighbors fed his dogs poison when he were staying in KL previously.

Few months back, when there is a heavy downpour in Jelebu, 21 of his dogs were swept away by flood. Now left 30 plus dogs. He was devastated when that incident happened, he "keep thinking about his poor dogs". He won't give his dogs away because he said "They are like my family, I can't part with them, no matter what".

Another shocking news from him is that government catches stray dogs AND sell it to zoos. WHY? Because the stray dogs will be fed to tigers ALIVE!

This colleague of mine is dog's life-saver. This man and his wife will surely got a place in heaven.
